The First week of August is Tagore week. Each morning begins with a song by Tagore and a talk about his life. Some extracts from his plays, short stories and poems are presented.
An exhibition of his literary works, drawings and paintings is arranged. The week concludes under a grove, decked with flowers.
Scholars, poets and persons who had direct connection with Gurudeva are invited as Chief Guest. In August 2008, Prof. Niranjan Bhagat, a poet, spoke to the congregation and recited one of Gurudev's last poems "Ogo amar bhorer chakui pakhi".
